Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-05-01
1. Service scope
Magnet Manager ("the Product") is a Chrome browser extension that provides:
- Detection of magnet links / 40-char SHA1 hash text the user actively selects on a page
- Pushing magnets to the user's logged-in 115 Cloud account's offline-download queue
- Pushing magnets or 115 direct links to the user's own configured aria2 RPC server
- Smart routing: 115 instant-fetch first → automatic fallback to aria2
The Product is a tool. It does not provide resource search, content indexing, file hosting, or distribution services. All 115 / aria2 calls are sent directly from the user's browser; targets, content, and save paths are entirely chosen and configured by the user.
2. Purchase and license delivery
- The user enters an email on the order page, redirects to Alipay to complete payment, and receives an email containing the license key on success
- The license key activates by entering it in the extension's Settings page
- The same license can be active on up to 5 browsers; activating a 6th device automatically signs out the oldest one
- During the public Beta, no purchase is required and all features are free for 30 days
3. Refund policy
- Paid users may request a no-questions refund within 7 days of purchase via Settings → Refund → enter the registered email
- On approval the refund is automatically returned to the original payment method, and the license is invalidated immediately
- A refunded user cannot reuse the same license key
- Beta has no payment, so the refund clauses do not apply
4. Prohibited use
The user undertakes to use the Product only for downloading, backing up, or managing personally legitimate, properly authorized content. The user must not use the Product to download, distribute, store, or manage:
- Content that infringes third-party copyright / IP / trademark / likeness rights
- Content that violates the laws of the user's jurisdiction
- Adult / pornographic / violent / terror-related content
- Gambling / fraud / pyramid-scheme content
- Malware / viruses / code that compromises computer security
- Any content prohibited by 115 Cloud's or aria2's terms of service
Legal / civil liability arising from breach of the above is borne by the user. The Product reserves the right to suspend or revoke the relevant license upon discovering abuse.
5. User responsibilities
- The user is responsible for the login state of their 115 Cloud account and the security of their aria2 RPC endpoint
- The user must keep the license key safe; consequences of leakage are borne by the user
- The user is responsible for the legality and copyright status of content they download
- The user shall comply with all applicable terms of 115 Cloud, aria2, and the laws of their jurisdiction
6. Disclaimer
- The Product is provided "as is", without warranty of being bug-free or 100% reliable (it depends on 115 Cloud / aria2 availability)
- For service interruptions caused by 115 Cloud changes (API changes, cookie invalidation, account risk control), the Product will adapt as quickly as possible but is not liable for user losses
- For data loss caused by mis-configured aria2 endpoints, wrong save directories, or network failures, the Product is not liable
- For any consequences resulting from the user's breach of the "Prohibited use" clause, the user bears full responsibility
7. Data and privacy
The Product's data collection / usage scope is detailed in the Privacy Policy. Summary:
- Reads only 115.com domain cookies, used to call 115 offline APIs
- Collects email at purchase for license delivery and refund contact
- Does not collect browsing history; does not connect to any third-party analytics service
- All user configuration (aria2 endpoint / token / 115 cid, etc.) is stored only locally
8. Service changes and termination
- The Product reserves the right to change service content, pricing, and features at any time. Material changes will be announced via extension update or landing page
- The Product reserves the right to terminate user access in cases of: violation of the prohibited-use clause / behavior endangering platform security / legal requirements
9. Dispute resolution
Disputes arising from use of the Product shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the people's court with jurisdiction in the location of the operating entity (entity details are subject to ICP filing information; see footer).
